1. Introduction

VIDJET TECHNOLOGIES S.L. ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to safeguarding the privacy and personal data of users of our Clarmix platform ("the Service"). This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, process, and protect your personal information in compliance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Personal data

We collect personal data necessary to provide our services, including contact information such as your name and email address when you register for an account. For payment processing, we rely on Stripe, a third-party payment processor, and do not store payment card details on our servers.

When you connect your Google Ads account to Clarmix, we collect product data, campaign performance metrics, and other information via the Google Ads API and Google Merchant Center API solely for the purpose of delivering our services.

2.2 Usage and technical data

To ensure the functionality and security of our platform, we automatically collect technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and device information. This data is used for authentication, troubleshooting, and service optimization.

We utilize session cookies to maintain user sessions; these cookies do not track personal information or browsing activity.

2.3 Data from third-party sources

We receive data from Google Ads and Google Merchant Center APIs, including product feeds and performance data, to enable the core functionality of Clarmix.

3. Purpose of data processing

Your personal data is used exclusively for the following purposes:

  • To deliver and improve the Service.
  • To authenticate users and maintain secure sessions.
  • To process payments via Stripe.
  • To comply with legal obligations, including tax and regulatory requirements.

Under no circumstances do we sell, lease, or share personal data for marketing purposes.

4. Data sharing and third-party disclosures

We may share your data with trusted third parties as follows:

  • With Stripe for payment processing, strictly under their privacy and security protocols.
  • With Google as part of our API integration, solely to provide the agreed services.
  • With Amazon Web Services (AWS) for secure data storage in Dublin, Ireland, under a data processing agreement that ensures GDPR compliance.
  • With the AI assistant you choose to connect through our MCP server, at your request, as described in section 11.

All third parties are contractually obligated to protect your data and process it only for the purposes specified by us.

5. Data security measures

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit and at rest.
  • Secure storage on AWS servers located in Dublin, Ireland.
  • Restricted access to personal data, limited to authorized personnel only.
  • Regular security audits and backups to prevent data loss or breaches.

In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users and authorities in accordance with GDPR requirements.

6. Your rights and choices

Under GDPR, you retain the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification: Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Right to erasure: Request the deletion of your data, subject to legal obligations.
  • Right to restrict processing: Limit how your data is processed.
  • Right to data portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

7. Data retention

Your personal data is retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy or as required by law. Upon account termination, user data is deleted within 12 months, except where legal obligations (e.g., tax or audit requirements) necessitate longer retention.

Usage logs from our MCP server are retained as described in section 11.4.

8. Cookies and tracking

We use session cookies exclusively for authentication purposes. These cookies do not track your activity beyond the functionality of our platform. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may impact your ability to use certain features of the Service.

9. Children's privacy

Our services are not designed for or marketed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

10. Updates to this policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify users of material changes via email or through our platform. Continued use of the Service after such notice constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.

11. AI assistants (MCP)

Clarmix offers an MCP server that lets you connect an AI assistant of your choice (for example Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or VS Code) to your Clarmix account. The connection is read-only, and it is only active once you set it up and sign in with your Clarmix account. This section explains what happens to your data when you use it.

11.1 Data shared with the assistant you connect

When you ask your assistant a question, it can retrieve the following data from the accounts you have connected to Clarmix:

  • Google Ads metrics and settings, such as campaigns, products, budgets and performance.
  • Google Ads change history, including the email addresses of the people who made each change.
  • Merchant Center product data and product issues.
  • Your Clarmix labels and rules.

11.2 Who processes this data

Data retrieved by your assistant is processed by the provider of that assistant (for example Anthropic for Claude or OpenAI for ChatGPT) under that provider's own terms and privacy policy, not under this policy. You choose which assistant to connect, so we recommend reviewing its terms before you connect it.

11.3 Access tokens and disconnecting

The access tokens that connect your assistant to Clarmix are stored in hashed form. You can disconnect at any time in Clarmix under Settings → AI assistants, or from the assistant itself. Access is cut off immediately when you disconnect.

11.4 Usage logs

For security and product analytics, we log each request made through the MCP server: which tool was called, on which account and with which parameters. We currently keep these logs indefinitely. We will update this section when we set a retention period.

11.5 What we don't receive

Your conversation with the assistant is never sent to Clarmix. We only receive the requests your assistant makes to our MCP server.
